2014 was a year of records

d. 09/01 2015

Registration figures for last year have been published, and it is now a fact that 2014 was a record year for the Danish automotive sector. In 2014 there were registered 5% more cars than in 2013.

This development naturally affects Dansk Auto Logik. Besides the growth opportunity that we have had with the increased car sales, we have also managed to increase market share through our growth strategy.

Measured by the number of transported cars, we have experienced an increase of 19% compared to 2013, with a total of 267.000 transported cars in 2014.

We interpret the increase as the industry’s recognition of our company’s ability to deliver competitive and efficient solutions. During periods of very high activity, we are the right partner. With more than 330.000 m2 fenced asphalt, more than 5,000 m2 workshop area and more than 100 car transporters, we are able to solve even very large projects in a short time.

Customers benefit from the development that Dansk Auto Logik has had in recent years. The greater activity we have, the lower unit prices we can produce for. Specifically, it has meant that we have not seen price increases for many years, and with the current activity we plan no adjustments in the short term. We repay for the loyalty of our customers and continue to invest in future solutions.

Growth requires investment

Alone in the second half of 2014, Dansk Auto Logik invested considerable sums. We have acquired approximately 30.000 m2 of land in Vamdrup. The area will during the first half of 2015 be included as part of the large car terminal in Vamdrup. Similarly, in the second half of 2014 we have invested in 16 new car transporters with a total value of approximately 27 million DKK.

Healthy economy is a prerequisite for quality

When no prices have been adjusted for several years, you are under pressure to produce at lower costs. We have over the years built up a financial stability, which means that there is financial scope for investment.
Throughout the company’s history, we have had a tradition of paying in cash. We invest when it is necessary and when it allows us to optimize and improve our solutions and services.

We also Invest in customer and employee relations. We know that many of our customers are happy that we have been able to maintain our high quality and service. We deliver almost all cars in dealers’ business hours and with Danish-speaking drivers.
